Subaru Loves Pets is a philanthropic initiative Subaru of America, Inc. started in 2015 to support animal welfare organizations across the United States. The program is a collaboration between Subaru and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the nation's first animal welfare organization.
The initiative focuses on providing resources and support to local animal welfare organizations, including animal shelters, rescue groups, and other organizations that help needy animals. Subaru Loves Pets is committed to making a difference in the lives of pets and those who love them.
Subaru Loves Pets has several different programs and activities that support animal welfare. These include:
- Subaru Loves Pets Month - Every October, Subaru celebrates Subaru Loves Pets Month, dedicated to supporting local animal welfare organizations. This month, Subaru dealerships nationwide host pet adoption events, collect donations for local animal shelters and raise awareness about animal welfare issues.
- Share the Love Event - The Subaru Share the Love Event is an annual charitable event in November and December. During this event, Subaru donates $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to one of four national charities, including the ASPCA. Since the start of the event in 2008, Subaru has donated over $200 million to charity.
- Subaru Loves to Care - The Subaru Loves to Care program is focused on supporting people and pets facing cancer. Through this program, Subaru dealerships nationwide donate blankets, messages of hope, and other items to cancer patients and their families, as well as local cancer centers and hospitals.
Subaru Loves Pets is a powerful initiative that has made a real difference in the lives of pets and those who care for them. By supporting local animal welfare organizations and promoting awareness about animal welfare issues, Subaru is helping to create a better world for all humans and animals alike.
